Re: Intel Dynamic Power Performance Management -- NECESSARY?
Just to add info to my previous post, here is the WhoCrashed entry. Am I correct that the etmdrvmgr.sys file is the offender? If so, is it okay to rename or delete it? Thanks again for the help. On Fri 4/1/2016 03:31:23 GMT your computer crashed crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\033116-26500-01.d...

Re: Intel Dynamic Power Performance Management -- NECESSARY?
Thanks. I tried disabling it in the Services window but it did not solve the problem. The WhoCrashed program still identifies the etmdrvmgr.sys file as the culprit, even though the Intel DPPM program shows as Disabled in the Services window. I'm not sure why a program that is disabled would still tr...

Intel Dynamic Power Performance Management -- NECESSARY?
After multiple crashes/re-boots after waking from Sleep, I ran WhoCrashed diagnostic on my CF-30 Mk 3 with Win 10 and it identified a driver error etmdrvmgr.sys, which is associated with Intel Dynamic Power Performance Management (DPPM). Since there is no updated Win 10 driver for Intel's DPPM shoul...

SD card reader driver for Win 10?
Anybody know if there is a Win 10 compatible driver for an internal SD card reader on a CF-30. Mine doesn't work and the SD slot doesn't show up in Device Manager.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: CF-30 running Win 10 reboots when waking from Sleep mode
I have not swapped out the HD as I've been reluctant to mess with it, but I appreciate the suggestion. The machine that's acting up is a Mk 3 "K" version, but it's not accessible at the moment so I can't provide the full model number. I don't have this problem on the Mk 2 "F" ver...

Re: CF-30 running Win 10 reboots when waking from Sleep mode
Well I appreciate the response. I know Win 7 is a stable platform and works well on CF-30s, so upgrading to Win 10 is problematic and not advised. But I actually like the Win 10 UI and functionality (without all the spyware), so I thought I'd give it a try. It works nicely on both machines, except f...

CF-30 running Win 10 reboots when waking from Sleep mode
I have a pair of CF-30s (Mk 2 and Mk 3) that I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 and they work great. However one continues to reboot every time I raise the lid or wake it from Sleep mode. I have searched online and found multiple suggestions to fix this, but none have worked. I have adjusted the Power ...

CF-30 upgrade to Win 10
I just successfully upgraded my CF-30 Mk2 from Win 8 to Win 10 (despite the Windows notification that it couldn't be done because the CPU was incompatible with the upgrade). Everything seems to work great, including the touchscreen. The one problem is that the internal SD card reader is not recogniz...

Re: CF-29 screen replacement
Thanks. I appreciate the replies. I also have a CF-30 with the higher screen resolution, so there's no urgency to replacing my CF-29 screen. Panasonic tells me the CF-29 12.1" monitor I have is SVGA and the 13.3" one is XGA, which allows the higher resolution. My CF-29 also runs XP, which ...

CF-29 screen replacement
I have a CF-29 mk1 with a 12.1" transflective touchscreen. Is it possible to replace this with a 13.3" touchscreen? The larger screen offers higher resolution. Panasonic confirms the CF-29 models came with both 12.1" and 13.3" touchsceens. Since some of my apps require the higher...
