CF-30 running Win 10 reboots when waking from Sleep mode

I have a pair of CF-30s (Mk 2 and Mk 3) that I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 and they work great. However one continues to reboot every time I raise the lid or wake it from Sleep mode.

I have searched online and found multiple suggestions to fix this, but none have worked. I have adjusted the Power settings and Advanced Power options, disabled the Bluetooth and wireless connectivity, unplugged all peripherals from USB ports, run various system scans as Administrator, run multiple virus scans (all clean), modified settings for display and network adapters, keyboard, modem, and other devices in Device Manager, checked the BIOS settings, turned Hibernate off, etc. Nothing has fixed it -- the computer restarts when waking from Sleep mode every time.

I checked Event Viewer and found errors each time it reboots, which I've pasted below. One looks like a Kernel fault, but I haven't been able to figure out what's causing it. Both show a Bugcheck code. Other with similar issues have suggested it's a driver incompatibility. I did a Driver scan and found multiple "outdated" drivers, but I'm reluctant to let 3rd-party software install other drivers because of the malware that often gets loaded from these sites.

I don't want to keep the HD on continuously, so I'd really like to fix the Wake from Sleep problem.

There are two main errors that appear under Windows System logs. One is "Error" that says "The system has rebooted from a bugcheck... (0x139)". Another is "Critical" and says "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first...." (a Kernel Power issue) The event logs are below.

I wish I could help you but I know no one on here that upgraded there 30 to W10. Way too many bugs .

Well I appreciate the response. I know Win 7 is a stable platform and works well on CF-30s, so upgrading to Win 10 is problematic and not advised. But I actually like the Win 10 UI and functionality (without all the spyware), so I thought I'd give it a try. It works nicely on both machines, except for the reboot bug on one of them. Oh well.

Did you try swapping the hard drives and see what happens?

That would narrow it down to hardware or software.

What is the full model number of both machines? Many Toughbooks have custom BIOS's that do odd things.

I have not swapped out the HD as I've been reluctant to mess with it, but I appreciate the suggestion. The machine that's acting up is a Mk 3 "K" version, but it's not accessible at the moment so I can't provide the full model number. I don't have this problem on the Mk 2 "F" version, which runs like a champ.

I feel a bit like a renegade for performing these Win 10 upgrades despite the advice of Panasonic, Toughbook specialists, and just about everyone else I've talked to. I appreciate the expertise of the people in this forum and hope I don't get booted off for committing Win 10 heresy on a Toughbook! :-)

Oh we're all a bunch of heretics here, often trying things that aren't recommended just to see what happens and then we share the results of our experiments. In fact this is the place to ask before you attempt something unusual to see if it's been done before.

+1 on the swap drives idea as your next troubleshooting step.

Guys....not sure if you can do that in W10. This OS is a lot different than XP or W7. I think that COA is locked to that mother board. There is a few threads on this at NBR.
