I got a MONSTER SIZED 8A AC adapter in today...

1 x CF-AA1684AM 8A AC Adapter - I paid $25 for it... Does anyone have any experiance with this???!?! 8 amps it is!!! It's physically HUGE in size (like twice the size of the normal ones and 4 x the size of the smaller CF-19 adapters...)

Rob, the adapter for my CF-52 is a CF-AA1683A and it is 8.0 amps also. I might be interested for a spare. what type of plug does it have? The standard yellow barrel style?
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

Nice, but Rob, I thought that you were of the opinion that extra amperage kills batteries faster... ;)
