I have already emailed techtough and they don’t make them any more and don’t have any.

It's funny because their instructions are still on their website:
https://www.techtough.com/instructions
If nobody here has one for you, you might be able to find an equivalent on cheesebay and take your chances. Just make sure that it looks as closely as possible to the pics; the orientation and positioning of the connectors is particularly crucial. Some proclaim to work in a CF-29 but actually do not.

Re: Wanted CF-29 ide/sata adapter
I have 1 and won't use it now due to it blowing fuses in 2 of my 3 CF-29s.
I'd be getting an IDE to M.2 case rather than get one of these old adaptors. Something like this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/183625107646 would do the trick nicely.

CF-D1 (Debian 11, Windows 10, trying BlissOS)

Indeed, that looks like it would have a better chance of working. Kind of like this:

Makes me want to try it.

Re: Wanted CF-29 ide/sata adapter
i have used ide to msata and they work fine and make a old machine fast. even have 1 running in a pentium 2 laptop. Msata was abundant a few years ago and cheap
Re: Wanted CF-29 ide/sata adapter
Hi kschewe,
I have used them in the past before too. I had a hp/compaq nc4200 and a t40 thinkpad that both worked great with that setup. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before my original post. While I was pm with ADOR the memory returned. Also I was going through my drawers of RAM, ssd, WiFi cards, msata drives, etc.
