Fedora Design Suite sounds like a decent setup.

				The OS itself should not be as much an issue as what access you have to the software. Try Mint in Cinn or xfce and add all the software you can. Or try one of these.

Because in the end it's about what interface you are used to for the OS and then the programs you want to use.  Good to see you Shawn.

				Have you looked into Darktable? It's listed as a Virtual lightable and darkroom for photographers.
