On my CF-52 MKII the Intel graphics software has a tab for custom settings on the main GUI page. I know, apples and oranges, but yours still has the integrated Intel GPU and I'd guess the Intel software for it is similar. Glad you got it working acceptably
Rob has one of the newer Intel integrated chipsets I haven't got to play with yet to see what it can do. On the 915/945 the video chipset is same one used in desktops, but it is just underclocked. Sometimes it is underclocked to less than half of what it can do. They do this for battery life but it kill performance. You can overclock it back up to the stock desktop speed. That helps out some, modded drivers can push you some more. I helped my ex-brother inlaw on his Dell XPS push his Intel 4500HD to play Skyrim at a good rate. I kind of skipped the X3100 that is in the CF-30. Been working on pushing it as hard as I can with out modded drivers and keeping eye on temperatures. Next is pushing it with modded drivers.
