When I get home from work tonight (maybe) I am going to try the 19C with the 18 lcd but on the external monitor so I can see what is different between them both (19C - 19D ) . As long as my touchscreen is ok on the 19D I should be able to put it on my 19C and it should work. If it does not work then it most likely the touchscreen is bad and not the fuse on the 19D

Sorry I am little late with this. I just took windows 7 off and put xp back on.
In device manager it shows FUJITSU TOUCH PANEL (USB) for the touch screen.
(now I just have to figure out why my 4gb sd card won't work after going from windows 7 to xp restore disk)

No, no ready boost. I didn't even swap the bios to the vista bios. I was just testing it out. It reads fine in my other computers. Reading back some CF-29's had that problem and it was lack of support over 2GB for xp unless two different patches were put in. ( yep needed hot fix for xp KB923293 and KB934428, it's working now) ( saved the files I will be needing them for the girl friends CF-19. I gave her one for Christmas. I think she is slowly turning, LOL. She carry's it with her everywhere, LMAO)
