Hi
just picked up a used cf30, was advised by seller that it was a mk3. having now looked over more carefully, all is fine, but there are no markings on the bottom to say what mark it is. the only ref nuber is T1200Z.
any suggestions on how to find out?

Go into your BIOS and it will tell you your full model number and you can also determine your mk #. Just hit F2 as it boots.
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

When you hit F2, look at the version of the BIOS that is installed, it will be the number next to the "V". If it starts with V5.XXX, you have a MK5, if it says V4.XXX, then it is a MK4.

Re: what mark of cf30 do i have
The first letter of the model number will tell you what mark it is:
EX: CF-30FTSADAM
CF-30C.....=MK1
CF-30F.....=MK2
CF-30K.....=MK3
same for the CF-19.
Hope this is useful to someone
