CF-31 Mk2 Windows 10 Touch Panel driver
Just wanted to share a bit of information if somebody is struggling with the same problem:
I've been running Windows 10 x64 on my CF-31J (Mk2) for a while, and Windows 8.1 before that.
Recently I noticed that the calibration option on my Touch Screen was missing. This probably happened during upgrade from Win 8.1 to Win 10.
I was not able to identify a Panasonic supplied driver that would support the configuration.
Solution:
Use the driver from http://www.fujitsu.com/us/products/devi ... 0570.html
Note that the driver is USB "mouse type".

Re: CF-31 Mk2 Windows 10 Touch Panel driver
Pardon the necro but makes more sense to post than to make a new thread.
Tried this on my mk2/w10 1903 and it does nothing. Neither does the MK2, 3 and 4 drivers. The touch does pass the built in bios diagnostic suite but is dead as a doornail in the os. Was the touchscreen changed between marks? I know my machine has been modified and it could possibly have a different lcd assembly. I have no info on it other than it came from a very toughbook knowledgeable person and has been messed with heavily.

Have you tried the drivers from the Panasonic driver download page ? Did it work before you upgraded to W10.

Re: CF-31 Mk2 Windows 10 Touch Panel driver
Yes, i tried the drivers separately, and extracted from the driver bundle. Just in case one is newer than the other. I've tried MK2, 3, 4 and now 5 drivers, both Win7 and when available, Win10.toughasnails wrote:Have you tried the drivers from the Panasonic driver download page ? At this point i think the panel is physically damaged. I know it did have touch at one point cause its stock and the screen protector was in very bad condition.
I have never run anything other than 10 on this machine.
Man my CF-19 never had so manyh issues. It just worked once the driver bundle was installed. Cant even find a bios update for this thing. My Google-fu is weak.

I think what I would do next is a new install of W7 or W10. Do you have the restore DVD

Re: CF-31 Mk2 Windows 10 Touch Panel driver
I'd run a linux usb through it. Some touch action should be evident out of the box. This is to confirm the screen is broken.toughasnails wrote:I think what I would do next is a new install of W7 or W10. Do you have the restore DVD
Bios should read AUTO TABLET....for any Windows 7 and up. BUT you could try switching from AUTO to TABLET Only...and/or Touch only in the bios.
OT...are you guys seeing a General Error box at the bottom of this page?
Fair for you/ Fair for me.

Gonna check the bios, but a frech install (the one on it was already fresh) of windows 10 didnt do anything. I cant find my 7 disc so i'll gotta waiut with that. A Ubuntu 19.04 liveusb gives absolutely no response to the touchscreen, or the touchpad for that matter.

We can FIX the TOUCHPAD.ares93 wrote:SHEEPMAN! wrote:I'd run a linux usb through it. Some touch action should be evident out of the box. This is to confirm the screen is broken.toughasnails wrote:I think what I would do next is a new install of W7 or W10. Do you have the restore DVD

Mark 2 has a different brand which is a PS2 TYPE driver. Windows has no problem with it.
Linux does have a small issue.
Solution for the touchpad is here in CF-31 or Linux section. I'll go find it. Here: http://toughbooktalk.com/viewtopic.php? ... =20#p22591
I'd say your touchscreen is broken at this point.

Re: CF-31 Mk2 Windows 10 Touch Panel driver
Let me guess, the CF30 lcd assembly and/or touch panel is not compatible? Just my luck.SHEEPMAN! wrote: We can FIX the TOUCHPAD.
