When you walk into a hotel you are staying at with two CF-28's in one hand and a box that has wires hanging out of it you get those "suspicious" looks? LMAO

I would probaly get some real funny looks bringing in the electrical connector box, the 4 M34's (3 Mk7 one Mk3) and computer disk case or they knew how many toughbooks were already in the bag in the room that made the trip with me. (19 Mk5, 52 Mk1 ATI, 19 Mk3 x2 and a Alienware)

If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked to take my CF-31/19, etc.... out of it's case at the "TSA check zone" I'd be rich... LOL

Re: Why is it..........?
I have gotten thumbs up from TSA but never asked to take it out of the "case" unless it was still in my backpack, lol. And that includes overseas coming home.
Loading up my first Toughbook (CF-28 Mk2) with xp right now. Trying to get it ready for the Projection MPI unit I am trying to see if it works. Not sure what the pin out on the serial port is for it either, may have to play with it. The 28 Mk3 wouldn't even boot to bios and I know it was working a couple of months back as I turn them all on and check them every few months. And there is white line though the screen of my Mk2 now. Got three other 28's at home still so I will get it figured out. Working on getting a 28 or 07 up and going with software needed so I can just leave it in the car if I need to program and not worry if someone broke in and stole it too much.

I was nearly tased for that once. Nearly whacked the idiot over the head with the toughbook when he put away the taser...

Re: Why is it..........?
I've freaked out a few people walking around with my old CF-29 that had a 3G USB stick velcroed on the side with a 6" USB extension cable looping into it. It's a dangerous looking small metal briefcase with a wire sticking out of it. All that was missing was for my wrist to be manacled to the handle in order to complete the effect.
