Later last night I wheeled (pulled then pushed, lol) the 4x4 into the shop. The brakes needed attention so I started pulling the dryrotted 31" all terrains off one by one then cleaning the brakes. The right rear drum was mis adjusted. It was dragging bad and had a very large dirt dobber nest in it wasn't helping it roll in the shop with 4 people pushing it. I got one more to go then I will have all of them changed out. I will be checking brake lines, gas lines, etc getting it ready to fire back up. I think the 2150 2v motorcraft carb is bad so I will swap to a 350cfm Holley 2v I have. If that doesn't work I will be dropping the 4v intake onto it and going from there.
Later stuff will be swapping out the bad headlight switch, cleaning the square aluminum tank in the bed, installing the 8,000 lbs warn winch, install tow bar from my old 93 ford pu I sold, swapping the grill for the non for logo grill and then deciding how much lift and how I want to do it. I was thinking of combining a 1" body lift with 2 to 2.5" front leveling springs or spacers. The cheapest way to do that would be get the spacers (40 to 55 bucks) or go to the junk yard and from a 2wd f250 get those front springs. They will lift a 4x4 from 2 to 2.5" in the front. The rear has good clearance but I will have to check for bottom out. I didn't want to go over 1" on the body lift if I even do that. Will just have to see.

I see now they have a rubbery temp paint that can stay on or you just take it off later if you want too. Thinking some loud color orange, yellow or lime green, lol.
