Strange marks on the outer edge of screen CF-30 touch screen

Noticed on my newly bought cf-30 there seems to be marks right round the edges of my touch screen anybody any ideas? is there a replacement cover you can get to replace this or is it just worn any suggestions, touch screen is ok, what is it?? see pics below-

Try LCD cleaner spray and wipe it off with a microfiber cloth.

I use 70% isopropyl alcohol. NOT ethyl alcohol. It even works on my CF-19 that has a screen protector film.

But if you drink enough ethyl alcohol, you won't care about anything on the screens. All 4 of them.

Exactly! That's why I don't waste the precious liquid on my screens.

Well I'm Scottish and I,m certainly not using my whisky!LOL have tried a few things...will try and get the stuff you suggested cheers guys

It's a replacement screen from the look. Marks would include thin gray band. Other marks could be fingerprints or dust....maybe air bubbles.
Air bubbles with a tiny dot in the center indicate a dust particle. Peel screen back and lift dust off with adhesive tape.

Warm one of the corners with a hot rag and use a fingernail (nothing else) to get under it.

I lifted a couple completely off and washed them in water and a drop of dish soap with usually terrible results.

When installing new screen do it in the loo with the shower running (steam keeps most dust settled)

Good replacements come with instructions. The shower is not mentioned.

techtuff in Canada may have a good quality replacement. Tell him I sent you. (He, Andre, is available PM on NBR) I checked on ebay and he shows none. Google (techtuff touch panels)(several cute things in his ebay store)
