I'm returning to the Toughbook fold!
I had a CF-28mk3 from 2008 to 2011 that I traded off to a buddy who needed it for work. I've been on macbooks, a Toshiba and a couple Thinkpads since....but for Ham radio stuff I just needed something that was somewhat modern but still has a DB-9 port!
So I found myself a good deal on a CF-19 Mk4 CF-19VMRFX2M and it's now on it's way to me.
I already know I'll be adding a few upgrades to it, starting with wlan and bt and maybe eventually a wwan card.

Not a bad spec unit at all. One issue I do see to prepare you for is the WinXP with windows 7 COA. All of those like that I have seen don't have the correct cert in the bios to activate windows 7 automatically.
