There is nothing wrong with the printer. I used it to print out a Customs form yesterday using an ssd with W7 and the bluetooth connection. I would prefer to get it working with the BT connection in LMDE2 but will settle for it using USB, as long as it works.
Any insight from the Debian users would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT:
Doh!! Had the USB cable unplugged. Plugged in the cable and tried the text file again. This time the printer shot out each piece of paper in the machine without printing anything on them.

I brought up the bluetooth applet that is in the system tray (?windows terminology) and had it look for the printer again. Again it found the printer, paired with it then disconnected. I clicked on the line that said the printer was disconnected and that brought up the status window and for the hell of it I clicked on the 'Send File...' button. I was able to browse for a file, selected the test text file I printed earlier through the USB and the file printed. Go figure. I almost think that a Microsoft programmer is clandestinely working as a Linux programmer. Anyways, I can now print using the Bluetooth connection, even though it shows that the printer is not connected through the bluetooth module. FYI. END EDIT
