That is a good question. I do know Panasonic does install them in there SSD caddy kit. I bought one some time ago .

Even the enterprise / industrial ones are not recommended for sub zero weather..

Some industrial grade SSD's are rated to work as low as -40c. Overall, using your consumer grade SSD will enhance its lifetime if you refrain from using it in subzero temperatures.
