What mk is that?
Mk 6 and Mk7 are the only ones to have usb 3.0

MK6 ....took a bit to find it. Like CF-191etc. So far no MK5 show USB 3.0.

Does (1) usb 1.0 plus (1) usb 2.0 equal usb 3.0? :)

You know I have never noticed an increase in speed from 2.0 to 3.0. So I think it's just a sales gimmick. We change the colour of the usb slot to blue and name it 3.0. Because blue makes it go faster.

usb 3.0 is much faster IF you have all usb 3.0 components. That includes cables..

Well I've runn os's from usb on both 3.0 and 2.0 with the new 3.0 "turbo" thumb drives and without. No discernible difference to me. I don't do those fancy tests just run Mint Ubuntu, Hirens ECT. from usb drives.

The automotive repair industry has run my friend out of using his original CF-29MK5....then he went to a 19MK2....now is asking for another CF-19 as they are handy in the vehicles. As I understood it he is using a lot of bluetooth with his diagnosis equipment.
Looking ahead at future needs he is asking for W7 64 with USB 3.0 also in the equation. He likes the 19 and wants to do a serious upgrade to his next unit.
I don't do software so don't ask me.
BTW Ken also teaches automotive diagnosis as the local Junior College.
