Just started using the Getac in the rescue and I have to say that I love it. Has anyone modded the Toughbook keyboard to also have the red "tactical" backlit keyboards??? I sold/traded my CF-30s but still have a CF-C2...

Do you mean the backlit leds are red and not white?
Yes that is possible
You will have to completely disassemble the keyboard and solder 4 new leds on...
Not that bad of a job to disassemble a keyboard.
You need double face tape to hold it all back together as you have to drill out the rivets.
Look for my thread on backlit keyboard for a CF19.
The insides of the keyboards are designed the same.
