laptop forums down/corrupted ?

hey all ,

i have tried to log into the *other* forum/site for a couple of days and while i do log in successfully , nothing is displayed .
is there a glitch over there or what ?

They are upgrading to new software.

and my guess they are having problems because "This page can’t be displayed" should not of happen. The site was to stay up during the switch . They told us that it would be read only and you could not post in any thread but that did not even happen...sorry. Check back later today.

Yep, they started 15 minutes early on the swap, then from there the read only message was on the screen, but you couldn't read anything. Now you can't get to the site at all.

Ok,who broke it?

I used to moderate a website and the one of the servers failed,then the backup failed.So now they had to get new servers and move several Terabytes of info over,then get it running smoothly. Not easy,took several days to get right.

It would appear someone screwed up or they don't know what they are doing... Either way... Not good.
