Hello,
Does anybody have any news regarding if Panasonic is planning to update the Android ICS to a newer version, I wouldn't like to be stuck in this version.
Thanks.
Regards.

Guys,
Being that the A1 is going EOL, I'd highly doubt that they would have an update

As I read it, there are updates for ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) and the next upgrade would be Jelly Bean or something.
The catch 22 is there is a huge number of apps that would need to be modified by individuals so switching from ICS to JB doesn't make sense for making the big switch......another way to put it 2% have switched to JB so there in little motivation for apps designers to upgrade from ICS to JB.
It's all economics and advertising.... not function. (my opinion)

Is it feasible? I mean, doesn't panasonic have something to avoid unlocking the bootloader?
Regards.

They have to have something to unlock it somehow for possible updates or service.
