Hello everybody,
I have a CF-U1 with the WWAN module installed but I have no idea where to get the program to connect to my carrier. I've been taking a look at the panasonic site but I've seen that the CSA software is for U.S. carriers. The supplementary instructions for the HSPA modem talks about a CD that contains the software. Does anybody have that CD? Or can I use the software from the U.S. site?

Re: CF-U1 and CSA outside the U.S.
You may want to try some of the other Panasonic sites around the world. You can search for Panasonic (Japan, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc)... explore other countries sites. The USA site has only stuff for the USA.
Rugged Toughbooks of all types... CF-31s, CF-30s, CF-29s, CF-19s, CF-52s, CF-53s, CF-74s, CF-H2... Hmmm... What else can I buy, build or modify?
Re: CF-U1 and CSA outside the U.S.
The EU toughbook sites redirect to http://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/dl/ site in order to get drivers,
There I have only found updates for the wwan software but the file description of those updates says "Attached WWAN-CD is required in order to use this tool. ". So, does nobody know anything about that CD?

No, I haven't. I'd really like to get the original software but if nobody has the CD, I'll have to give it a try.

That file is 500MB, the CM are only 5MB, so I guess your zip includes the driver, doesn't it?Rob wrote:You realize we have a public downloads area here with all this info right?rrtek wrote:Ok, here it is the wan manager for the gobi 2000:
