CF-31 Bottom Cabinet assembly
CF-31 Bottom Cabinet assembly
Hey guys, I'm having a hard time listing all the parts I'm going to need to repair the bottom cabinet assembly. I have attached pictures of what I'm referring to. I know I need the the stickers, "HDMI" cushion, and other things I have no earthly clue about.
On a sidenote, anybody have a CF-31 they are trying to sell for parts?
*Edit - When I attached the pictures, they were entirely too big. Let me scale em down a bit and repost them.

Re: CF-31 Bottom Cabinet assembly
Sound like you need to make a shopping list for Heartland Services. Stickers, you mean for the doors ? It looks like the one you have showing looks to be in good shape. The stickers do not cost a lot...couple dollars each. Finding a parts 31 cheap will be hard to find at a price you would like unless $800.00 is a good pricejtevenal wrote:Hey guys, I'm having a hard time listing all the parts I'm going to need to repair the bottom cabinet assembly. Re: CF-31 Bottom Cabinet assembly
Will I can tell you back order is name of the game. I ordered....Rob wrote:Blair is Heartlands bitch...

1- sticker set...only took 8 months to get
2- order (50) 29 USB covers but got (50) Lan covers. Called them to tell them they made a mistake and what did they do but send me 50 more of the f!@#$% things

3- It takes them up to 2 weeks to give me a quote on parts
4- If I get my parts order in 30 days then that's fast. Oh yes and the time my order was sent to a vacant house...my address is "482" and it was sent to "842"... my $1600.00 order sat on the doorsteps for almost 2 months.
Waiting on a quote now...wish me luck

I'm guessing everything comes from Japan..Slow boat...Very little actual stock in USA.
Maybe Heartlands has been outsourced to India.
I would give some of blame the shipping thing to UPS. The driver should recognize your name.

Holy SHIT Blair.... Seriously? Your laptop sat on a doorstep for two months?
Reminds me of when I sent a laptop out to someone who bought a laptop from me off ebay... The postman dropped the laptop in the hallway of this condo unit even though I requested a signature. Of course the woman claimed she never got it and the USPS paid me off via the insurance I had as they could not produce a signature. It only took them TWO MONTHS to pay me!
I started shipping via UPS after that!

Rugged Toughbooks of all types... CF-31s, CF-30s, CF-29s, CF-19s, CF-52s, CF-53s, CF-74s, CF-H2... Hmmm... What else can I buy, build or modify?
