In short, Rob can't help me gentlemen. This was due to the customers insistince that he not have a touchscreen, of all the weird things, and that mandated a custom order! Whatever, it's still up for grabs if people want it. When life gives you lemons, you take 75% or so of what you spent back and make lemonade!

I tried explaining that to.him but he didn't want to hear it... Next time (hopefully there isn't one) I'll be more insistent... shitty cell service didn't help any I am afraid, I had low stamina to explain things to him...
Oh well, live and learn... J own up to my mistakes and this one is mine and mine alone...
Re: Rugged Depot order for CF-53 for sale/buyout, big saving
I'll take $1300 for the next 48 hours, after that this becomes my personal toughboo CF-53k, always wanted one anyhow...

Re: Rugged Depot order for CF-53 for sale/buyout, big saving
You know what, I have to admit a small (ok maybe a little big) part of me is hoping you guys DON'T pick this up in the next 24 hours, because then I get a new CF-53...

Yeah, I know, been meaning to get one anyhow, I can make this work alright. Still, to satisfy my bank account and say "I tried", I'll take this deal until this evening.

Re: Rugged Depot order for CF-53 for sale/buyout, big saving
I have to confess, I've decided to keep this, and yes, it's arriving today according to the tracking. Been watching the tracking info like a hawk, lol.
It cost a lot, but it's about time I treat myself anyhow... Always putting business first is boring. Expect a review shortly.

Heh, well you know FrankenPanny had to retire someday... lol. I feel kinda sorry for it, my poor old friend... I mean I pretty much awoke the thing from the dead only to get rid of it in 6 months... Dr. Frankenstein would be proud.

Then again, it replaced my CF-50... It's about time I wasn't a model number or two behind the curve...

What's wrong with a 50? I still have some. Just something about having that floppy ready for boot disk production, lol.
