.... I got the SP3 download off Microsoft...did it manually... Figure's...Touchscreen doesn't work lol just my luck....I don't think it would be good to get a new TS The Value on this Model kinda Low....I also have this Program...V.92 Modem on Hold Idk what that is Does it go to the antenna ?

On a standard , not mucked with, HTM50BM you would see something re:GC83.
A stock 50BM would have a cable from the PC door area to the pass-through. The other lead from the pass-through goes into the lid and to the WWAN antenna.
Also stock....a cable small, goes from the modem to a little pcb clipped to the edge of the MOBO in the area that the CDROM butts up against.
It was for SBC testing equipment.
Sorry I'm cooking.

OOH
rustoleum textured silver is pretty damn close to the original panny color/texture. Panny uses a 2 part epoxy, but for $8/can, this will do ok for 12 months at a time.

When you install the drivers for the touchscreen did you do this from "Device Manager". I just wanted to check because we have had a few members that though by unzipping them that they installed it...notDirtyReaper wrote: Figure's...Touchscreen doesn't work lol just my luck...

yeah, if you did the oem image, then the touch drivers should be right.
i'm no sure if there is a setting in the bios or not (dunno,I've always had touch in my 29), but you should check to make sure it is indeed enabled. then....
go to start>control panel>mouse>touch screen>test. try to trace the edge of your screen. it can tell you a lot.
also, check the 29 FAQ I linked to earlier about the toothpick trick
But more than likely, your touchscreen delaminated and failed....wompwomp. sorry if it did. you are in the right place to get that taken care of any which way it goes.
good luck!
