Now this does sound good because the one you just got is the same as mine (CF-51RC4KFBM). So if this does work I'll be going shopping :D . Also I just picked up another T7200 cpu for $40.00 shipped.....could not pass it up at that price :D

man, you come up on some good deals, that last cf-51 the RC4 was 77 bucks, no caddy or hard drive, 1GB ram and a panny blue tab battery that so far is taking a good charge. Don't shoot, got another RC4 coming complete and software loaded for 256 bucks biometric as well. everything but restore discs. have tried to find these but maybe I should check with Rob as he may have these. got a lead on some engenius 8602 plus-s wifi cards for 15.99 10.00 s&h but combines shipping, listed this in the cf-29 section. still can't wait for the T7600. But in reality, not that much over the T7200, but another bit of info for those interested in this particular laptop.........Driller

You do know they will not fit in the MK3LL...right ?
that last cf-51 the RC4 was 77 bucks
That was a good price for a MK3LL , I have been trying to get another one but they are 3 resellers that are driving the price way up...sometimes over $100.00 + shipping . :eek: and I was paying under $50.00 shipped and all I needed was a HDD/caddie and here I thought I could get them cheaper...boy was I wrong.

Why won't the wi-fi fit in the MK3LL ?

Alex, The MK3LL (Core Duo) uses the Mini PCI-E Card but the MK1LL (Centrino) can use the Engenius card. I am looking at them now. Someone else asked me this and I posted a pic of them but can't find it now. :(

Also I just got this from the CF-51 F.A.Q at NBR
=== Wireless LAN

Pre-Mk3: MiniPCI slot on the top of the mainboard. Shipped with either an Intel 2200 (802.11b/g) or an Intel 2915 (802.11a/b/g) card.

Mk3/Mk3LL: MiniPCIe (MiniPCI Express), with an Intel 3945 A/B/G card

Thats a positive then
An Intel 3945AG or AGN card would be a good choice
My cf-19 and cf-30 use this card stock and it works great

So you have no problem with this card. I was thinking about upgrading my CF-30/51 to the intel "N" card. Reason being is my XPS downloads faster than my 30....I was thinking it was because it had the "N" card ? I was looking at this one http://cgi.ebay.com/HP-4965AGN-802-11-a ... 35ad6a4dca..about $10.00 shipped

Run speedtest.net and check the differance
In my case the 2 to 3 mb/sec download throughput that I have from my ISP will have no effect , and I would be forced to upgrade my A/P and Wireless bridge/repeater to N

Yes that is the same card that Rob used in his upgrade on the cf-30
The instructions on the needed pin mod are in the public downloads area
