What a stupid test, and it proves nothing.

An explosion is very random in what it will do under these conditions and neither laptop worked. Two ball-headed Bozos "declaring" the Motorola the winner has no more meaning then me and anyone else here (can I get a second?) contradicting them, with the exception being that there is not a good reason to believe that either company is behind our pronouncement.

How tough can the Motorola be if it relies on a fan?

Seen the specs on the CF-31 yet? Not good news there if you don't like fans. Although, after reading the thread in the other forum, I wonder just how much some people are jumping the gun with the comments, especially those against since it has a fan. Kinda like throwing verbal stones at a new car without driving it first. As always, time will tell.

I think that the fan is a mistake, as I understand it the fan only works when the video card is fully in use? The problem I am concerned with is that most end-users do not care about what for most will be issued equipment and will run it in the rain and sand, with fatal results, to the Toughbook anyway. But you are right, only time will truly tell!

But it was a a stupid test, and it does prove nothing.
