XP Pro Key- Bad keyboard- # 1,4,7,8
So my problem is a bad keyboard on my CF-51 . Tried to install XP Pro but when I get to the part where I put the windows key in I am stuck . My number 1,4,7 and 8 will not work and all 4 of my windows keys I have has at least 1 of them numbers. I know this is stupid to ask has anybody have a window key I could borrow without them numbers I will change it once I get into windows and yes I am going to get another keyboard, just missed one $20.00 but at the time I did not know I needed one.

Just wondering out loud... is it possible to use the on-screen keyboard during setup?
Blair, most keyboard have a NumLk button that bypasses the top roll of numbers. Oh wait... never mind... 7 and 8 are still the same keys!

I had to enter my WPA2 key into a Japanese copy of Vista for a my fiancee's Japanese girlfriend one time. It had a Kanji keyboard.
I just loaded a flash drive with then correct key in a text file and entered the code with cut and paste. That was the first Vista machine I ever touched.
