Keep an ear open for a March announcement of the New Business Rugged C1 convertable tablet!

UPDATE Picture Attached. Does anyone see a striking resemblence to the Fijitsu Life Books?

The Panasonic C1 is the World's Lightest 12.1" Convertible Tablet PC

It will be announce March 2nd 2010 at HIMSS
First Ship Date will be June 1st 2010 (for Dual Touch units)
Two screen types will be available: Dual Touch (Digitizer and Touchscreen in one) & Touchscreen Only
Both units will also have Multi Touch capabilities in Touchscreen Mode

Business Rugged Unit rated for:
-30 inch operating drop (to base only)
-1ft drop on all 26 axis
-Magnesium alloy case
-Crush resistant to 225lbs
-Shock-mounted, flex-connect QUICK RELEASE HDD
-Spill-resistance keyboard

Highlights:
-Industries most Durable one handed triple-hinge design
-Multi Touch Capabilities
-Will feature the H1's patented ergonomic hand strap
-Ships with one 5 hour battery but will take 2nd on board battery and capable of hot swapping
-Will be capable of Bluetooth, WiFi, WiMAX, and GOBI Mobile Broadband simultaneously
-Will feature Intel's New i5-520M 2.40GHz processor
-5 programmable buttons on frame of screen for access in laptop or tablet mode
-Standard with a Dual Array noise canceling michrophone

How big is big? because I have it set to like a 200MB limit......

Not sure, but in my experience the Healthcare industry that this is designed for locks everything down and uses proprietarty software suites. So this option is of no concern for them.

However, i don't see any reason why this wouldn't be capable of Aero.
