Will CF-31 Mk2 run Win10?

OK, time to upgrade my trusty CF-31JEGAX1M Mk2. I would like to duel boot Windows 10P and Ubuntu 20.04. I am starting with a FRESH 2TB SSD. I have 16GB of RAM and 2.5 GHz i5-2620 CPU.

I have had several dual boot Toughbooks and this one I am trying to update is presently running Win7 x64 Ultimate and Ubuntu 17 x64.

So, the problem. I have installed Win10P several times. The first time it got to the desktop and seemed to be running stable, but it crashed when I tried to run Windows Update. I figured that it choked on a driver, probably video. I tried a repair, but that failed. I tried to format over my mistake and do a fresh install, but every time I do, I get distorted video and endless black screens. I have read that the problem may be TPM. I have 1.2, and I think that Win10 wants 2.0. But then why run the first time? I have read that you can bypass the TPM restriction with a registry hack. No, I am not terribly worried about security, I seldom let Windows touch the Internet.

BTW, in all my attempts at getting a stable install I have never gotten the screen that says "This PC will not run Windows 10 blaa, blaa, blaa."

In all other ways my CF-31 seems Win10 ready! Any advice, ideas or better solutions?

My Mk3 with i5 and Intergrated graphics and ATI 7750 installed it with out any problems. 10 even figured out the dual graphics on it's own and downloaded the right driver for it.

My sons 19 Mk5 and my 19 Mk6 both run 10 just fine. And like the 10 I run a mix of official Panasonic drivers and what 10 picked as best.
