Posting this in the Linux forum because Android is Linux based.

ADOR suggested I take a look at Android X86 (https://www.android-x86.org/) instead of looking at an FZ-A1-2-3. So today I have downloaded from the main download of Android X86 both the 32 and 64 bit of Android X86 to test on my D1. While looking around it seems that Android X86 has been incorporated into BlissOS (https://blissos.org/) which is an X86 variant of Android and should work on most X86 type computers less than 4 years old. Android X86 is based on Android 9 (Pie) which is now old (current versions are 12 and 13). BlissOS has 2 versions available, and versions within these as well, and they are 11 (based on Android 9) and 14 (based on Android 11). I'm going to check them out and see if any work and how functional they are on my D1.

Downloaded Android X86 and X86-64 from android-x86.org and attempted installed it. It installed fine but does not see my wifi. I manually put in my wifi details and it still doesn't see it. Same buggy thing I saw years ago. Went to blissos.org and started downloading 11. Interesting thing is bliss is twice the size of android-x86. Letting it download the 32 bit version right now, will try to install it on Saturday and report back how it goes.

Installed BlissOS 11 64 bit last night marginally better than the old Android X86.
Problems so far:
- doesn't see wifi although you can manually put in wifi details and, unlike Android X86, it will remember them. This maybe a driver issue.
- touchscreen does not work. Can touch the screen but sensitivity is non existent. Will look into configuration file later.

There use to be a download list were they had a general download, then ones made for certain machines. May be able to cross reference those other downloads and compare specs.

I see the releases page (and the web page in general looks WAY DIFFERENT than it use too) but I don't see the ones they had for certain machines like they had a section for netbooks only at one time.

They have a forum for it as well, let me check my gmail for the link, I know they are still active. I get replies of new stuff even though I haven't been on there in years.

Maybe you can did though there and find what you need.

Also too I don't know if emulation like BLUE STACKS would work for you as well running that in windows. I haven't used that in a few years either.

I don't like emulation unless it is absolutely required. I even run a separate partition of FreeDOS rather than emulate it. Thanks for the links I'll check them all out. Even though Android is based on Linux I'm going to have to research this to get it to work. After reading BlissOS documentation one thing I like about BlissOS is the ease of updating to a new version. Neither Linux or Windows is as easy if it goes how they say it does.
