I own a highly modded (SATA3 enabled, 16GB 1866 MHz RAM) CF-19 Mk7 in awesome condition but Ivy Bridge is starting to show it's age. So, i'm thinking of upgrading to something newer.
Problem is: what should I buy? 31 Mk5 is on Broadwell and still has the awful XGA screen, 33 is a tablet with a keyboard bolted on and I have no idea whether i'll like it or not. What's the thermal performance like on the 33? Anything is better than the awful cooling the 31 has IMHO.
CF-19 Mk7 replacement, CF-31 Mk5, CF-33 or..?

I'm currently taking a really hard look at a GETAC V110. It starts with Haswell in Gen1 and goes up from there. The prices are a bit higher then CF-19's but it's also a newer design and honestly looks like it was designed in the last few years instead of 2010.

Blergh, Getac. Lack of community behind them is holding me back.monkey1911 wrote:I'm currently taking a really hard look at a GETAC V110. It starts with Haswell in Gen1 and goes up from there. If only the CF-33 was released with Ice Lake or Comet Lake..
