Delivery Driver ideas?

It's been a while since I've been on here, but I'd like some advice. I'm now a delivery driver for Papa John's, and I was wondering what Toughbook solution I could go with. Right now I use my phone for GPS, which is OK, unless I have to call a customer and plot a route for my next delivery. It's a hassle, I'd rather have one system for GPS/Navigation, and save my phone for talking to customers or management at the store. Right now I've got a CF-19 MK3 fitted with a Gobi 2000 module, but it's too slow for me to use. Any ideas? Also I'm going a class to become a NOAA trained Storm Spotter, also known as SKYWARN. I'd like a solution in my car with good GPS, and fast cellular networking. On a budget. The majority of my income is tips alone.

I'd also like some ideas on mounting solutions. I drive an '08 Ford Fusion, so I doubt there's an off the shelf solution. Is there something I can modify to work, or do I need to build something custom?

In this day and age if you’re on a budget, I’d get a Garvin or Magellan dedicated gps navigate system like Uber and Lyft drivers use.
Best regards
Kris

FZ-Q1? Is that android or windows based? I'll admit I'm not too familiar with Toughbook tablets. I mean I'm familiar with the whole CF series of models, but the tablets are something i really haven't understood yet. Almost like learning a new language, it's completely new to me.

Since you have two 19's and a 29 already why not look into a dedicated GPS for one of those units. I have a custom toughbooks gps in a 29 and installing one in my 31 as soon as I find time. I Got one to install into my mk4 or mk5 19. I think i have some stock units from Mk1/2 units at the house still. They still have some PCMCIA slot cards for gps as well. Then all you need is mapping software.

So oddly enough, I found a Toughpad FZ-G1 on eBay for a decent price. The unit looks good, but can someone decode the model number? The old configurator doesn't have it at all, and the official Panasonic configurator brings up models that are too new. The model number is FZ-G1ASK4CCM. The eBay link is https://www.ebay.com/itm/PANASONIC-TOUG ... 2749.l2649

I don't know if the link will work, since it's from the Purchases page of my account.
