First SSD failure

Finally had my first SSD failure. It's a Intel x25 G2 80 gb that was a boot/OS (windows 7) drive in my Gaming desktop (in a Voodoo Hexx case) Using a AMD FM2+ motherboard and A10-6800K cpu. I had added a dedicated 650ti to it and it played great.
A few months back it stopped booting correctly and after trouble shooting I thought something may of been wrong with 650ti card so I put another one in. Then next month had a few issue so I just thought the OS needed a refresh so I reloaded windows 7 Pro 64bit. That "fixed" it for about another month. This time home it would start to boot then that was it. It wouldn't go past the windows 7 splash screen. Running a few tests it said the drive was bad. I dropped my 960gb samsung SSD from my CF-19 Mk5 into it and with windows 10 it booted fine. Swapped some drivers.
Now I am trying to do some testing of that drive in a external enclosure. Some folders work fine, others don't. We will just see how it goes and if I can see how long it shows it ran, etc. It works for a little bit then locks up. IF I can't get my data off I will try to see if a Reformat will take.
