So I have an "unknown device" in device manager - CF-19

It isn't the hotkey drivers or the tablet pc button drivers or the TPM drivers. What could it be?!?!?!

This is what I get from Device Manager as well: ROOT\*PNP0501\1_0_17_0_0_0

CF-19CDBAXVM, Win XP Tablet SP3/IE8

So, I disabled both the serial ports in the BIOS and this went away(In particular, serial port A is what made it disappear) ... Most def a serial port issue :(

What is serial port B used for? The WWAN modem?

Good freakin' lord!!!!!! I simply uninstalled this device and then it disappeared... Even after right clicking in the white area and clicking on "Scan for hardware changes" it didn't find anything... WHATEVER!!

CASE CLOSED!
