Re: MX Broadcom manager on Zorin?
If you were using MX (which is debian), you would download the 64 or 32 bit program, and then let gDebi Manager install it. In Zorin, I'd have to check but don't think it is Debian. I can check later when out of work.

Re: MX Broadcom manager on Zorin?
The Broadcom thingy just is more informative.
My wireless is all working fine.
Sheepman was talking about MX and the Broadcom manager. So of course I thought ooh I want it.
Zorin is Ubuntu based. I did install Gdebi and the Broadcom thing sort of installed. I am sure I did not do it correctly.
MX has a couple other interesting tools I want to try on Zorin.

Re: MX Broadcom manager on Zorin?
You might have to chase down a few prerequisites to get it to work. I would have used
dpkg -i <deb file name>
Then check for errors and take things from there. Then again I have more patience for this type of thing.
