Linux Mint 18 was pretty good but I get an occasional crash with the desktop (Cinnamon on 53MK1). Found a tweak that may be working....untested so far.

MEANWHILE my Anti-x (pronounced antiques) is running in everything .............this is a persistent usb stick. MX-15. Everything is CF-29 MK4 and above.

Persistent disk keeps your /home directory with any tweaks and downloads that are made (like wine, VLC, winfast navigator etc.)...so I move my calibrated stick from MK3 CF-30 to CF-30 for instance. Click one button to install to hdd if everything is copacetic.

Speaking of passwords...how about the admin password in W7 Ultimate that I want to change/remove but I don't know the password. :booty:

My W7 comment was me messing with Shawn. :D

I have a "classic" CF-29 MK5 (1260 hours) running W7 Ultimate and just wanted to change the User/Admin name. Until then I didn't think it had a password at all. It's no big deal.
