Ok i know this is a reoccurring theme for me, ive got one part sorted out, thr recordings with the microsoft studio cam. But we have a cannon xl1s, batteries are junk, firewire port is broken off in it, wrong ac adapter that hooks to it and a charger... cost to repair isnt feaaable due to the cost of a replacement, but they have it hooked up RCA's to a tv out back. Any way of streaming the microsoft cam from the comuter to it? Tried finding a way but no luck yet. Is there any reasonable cameras that pick up sound and video and send over rca?


I almost wonder if i could record with the life cam software and stream it on skype and just put something in there to recive the video feed...

Why don't you use OBS for capturing?

Thanks, ive never tried anything with that. Also now talk of doing live streams. Obs says it can do it. Ive just never tried it. I guess time to start reading up
