Should I buy a CF-29L?

#1 Post by User32 »

I saw a very cheap CF-29 on Ebay, but it's missing the charger, battery and caddy, should I go for it?

CF-29LAQGZBM is the serial btw.

I like MK4s. No TPM otherwise pretty much identical to MK5.
Fair for you/ Fair for me.
I chose to NOT be organized.

This an outstanding price for a new caddy. Then you will need a hard drive.

Going with this me thinks, it even comes with a caddy+80GB HDD!

That's a good price for a complete unit.

I personally would check into a mk3 or later.
They are a better machine. They had Led backlight on the display and came with win7. Led backlight is much much better. Coming with win7 means you can get a factory recovery disk.

^the same dude also has a 19 Mk3 but it's in terrible shape, not bothering overhauling it.

EDIT: Or I might do it after all as it has GPS! Maybe make a beater out of it, dunno.

Meh, didn't do it in the end, 2 port covers missing, bad shape. If it was cheap then i'd snag it up but I have more important uses for my money this month. (grips, IFP+better damper internals for my Maverick DUC32's)
