I have a CF-31JBGEA1M Mk2 with a factory restore disc reload of Win7-64bit. MS Update says I should download and install "Intel Active Management Technology - SOL", 22kb update released 9/15/11 and published 5/15/12.
Anyone had any experience with this software or its update? Panasonic lists the driver as installed in the "PC Information Viewer" "Drivers" tab but doesn't list the driver at all in its driver installation instruction list - not as updated or otherwise. Internet says it's the SW used for remote control of computers by IT Managers and some phone in software support techs like Norton, etc.
Thanks

remote control of computers
That means NO for me.

Re: Intel Active Management Technology - SOL update for CF-3
Agreed, but it also permits the "fine me", "call home" and remote "kill" functions of the TB security suite. Still, like you, mixed feelings. My general policy is, if Panasonic doesn't provide the update, I leave it alone. Thanks for the response.Shawn wrote:remote control of computers
