The quote was my quote to highlight the reason for the message. Good point though maybe colored letters? Reading between the lines most (nearly all) quotes come from outside the document and I truly understand what Shawn the R meant. Thanks Shawn.

Media bay battery still charging...may be a good one.

Thanks Bill.

Forgive us please OP (original poster) we occasionally  digress.

media battery and charger came from me...Ha ha ha. Yes it's good...

He did not ask about recharging so I got confused about you interjecting that info.
The quote did confuse as I could not find it in the original message.

In another thread a guy was trying to use a vehicle dock in a shop. I thought the second half of your response may have been meant for that post.

You stated your Lind has an output of 12v..The CF-371 and the Toughbook needs an input of 15.6~16v. That plan won't work. Now if you have a Lind with an output of 15.6~16v, then you are cooking with gas.
Life will beat you into submission.

I spent most of today replacing the screen in my galaxy s3. My phone was BROKEN. As challenging as fixing a CF C1

Wow, thanks for the response! Yes another Shawn. Im surprised its spelled the same too. Thats a rarity! As for the battery I haven't had a situation yet to here im less than 50% when im done using it. Im impressed so far! As far as a pic of me climbing a tower with it strapped on my back, no lol. I haven't delt with any tower climbs with tower mounted radios.... yet :cyclops: . Its winter here in the northeast which means my rear is grounded till it at least gets above 60F. Absolute emergency climbs only. But I feel your pain Bill, we use Motorola GM300's which are programmed using pure DOS. Usually have to fire up the old dell with windows 95. Maybe if that one quits ill look into a CF-29.

Thanks for the welcome!

Shawn

Reminds me of a few beams that I've put up. In my younger years. I need to get off my butt and clear the old radio stuff out of the shed. Might make a few dollars off those old vikings, ect, on Fleabay.
