Welcome to Toughbooktalk. Please post you full model number, it will give us a better idea what you have for a 19. I have a 19 MK5 but I installed W7 32bit, 64bit on a 19 is what I call "over kill" . Did you use the recovery disk to install W7/drivers or just the standard disk and then added the drivers ?

Panasonic Toughbook CF-19ADNC7DA Mk5 Dual Active Screen Core i5-2520M 2.5 GHz, 10.1", 320GB HDD, 4GB RAM - 3G, GPS, Dual Passthrough Windows 7 Pro 32bit
Yes it is dual touch...The drivers are probably incorrect....
Since it is a CF19 and driver installation is extremely difficult to get correct, I recommend getting the official Win7 32bit recovery disk.
What country are you in?

I would contact the authorized Toughbook dealer for New Zealand and get an official Win7 32bit restore disk..
It's the simplest solution....

another question
i have the option of a :
Seagate Momentus 750GB drive
or a 128GB ssd
will opt for the 750GB unless you think the performance boost of the ssd will outweigh the lower storage capacity ?
and comments thanks

Seagate Momentus 750GB drive or a 128GB ssd
All I have in mine is a 120GB SSD but I don't have a lot on it. If I was using it more I would of put a 240GB SSD in it. All my music and movies I keep on a external drive since they can fill up a drive fast.
