The Surrender and Fn keys don't work, at least for me. Disappointing.
Back on a different MK3 30.....the F1 and F2 don't work. There's a tweak here somewhere. At least this time it didn't trigger the numlock. MK1 had no issues.
Using MK 3 30 and same drive in MK 2 30., see the post about single line calibration.
This is commercial DVD version with all updates. Cinnamon Debian 2.0.
Problem with F1 and F2 went away. (probably in updates somewhere)
Other news:
Download version was Cinnamon Debian 2.88 and worked out of the box. 2.88 has "Constructor" built in. That part didn't work for me yet. Otherwise the OS is fine.
O.K. I put Makulu -8- away and installed the just released Makulu-9-LiteXFCE 64bit. Released today. Someone is having fun with Makulu Constructor.
This is a stripped down for CD version, add your own stuff.
First off I go to keyboard application keys and add xfce4-popup-whiskermenu with Super_L- (windows key)
Fn F1 and F2 work so it's installed on my CF-31 with it's SSD.
Added Chromium and xinput-calibrator. I updated the repositories just so these were easily find-able, haven't decided on a office program yet.
Funny, like minds think alot. I'm at work reading this now....and this morning before work I downloaded and installed this lite version also on a CF-52. The New 9 Series Kicks off with the Release of the new Xfce Edition which comes in 2 flavors…I read the release notes in the Xfce Section & grabbed a copy from the download section ...Ran the updates and then had to run off to work...found here: http://makululinux.com/
The "lite edition" of Makulu 9 XFCE 64 bit will fit on a CD, and get you up and running, however almost NO software is installed in the lite version.
I downloaded the ISO from their downloads section of the above site, and used Unetbootin to burn to usb. The first thing you will want to do is make sure you have an internet connection. The bare bones build of this little one does NOT even have a browser, but it found my internet wireless right off the bat. I ran Synaptic Package Manager and made sure all updates had been downloaded and installed. Then I installed: Firefox Browser, Shutter, and XFburn.
This Debian Linux version is 3.13.0-52, and it goes nicely with the CF-52 GUN that came out east from Sadlmkr's ranch. I re-booted and then ran the Makulu Constructor program. This made a custom iso of my somewhat vanilla system that I'd added browser, etc. It took 5-10 minutes or so, and then completed saying my new ISO had grown to around 786 MB, was now in the /home/snapshot folder. I'll burn a usb of this new iso tonight and let you know.

1. This I like!
2. Makulu Constructor has a learning curve but:
a. Watch the video.
b. Everything works.
c. I am running a MK3 -30 via USB Constructed from "Makulu-Constructor"..very quick load...all my updates and settings are saved.
With a little work...(study) this is a good one.

Makulu 8 Cinnamon was a little fluky..but I think they have it dialed in now.
I downloaded MakuluLinux-9-Xfce-x64 (Normal Ed, not the Lite Ed) and put it on a usb stick using unetbootin then booted the CF-30MK3 with it. Before I booted off the stick, I installed the Intel ssd I had loaded W10 onto. Installed with no problems. I installed xinput-calibrator but when I tried the script in the 'Calibration from a single terminal' thread, I got permission denied so with the file manager I created the proper file/folder, ran the TS calibrator and copied/pasted the info, added kode-niner's script for right click with a stylus, saved the file and all is good. I used Jeff's keyboard hack to enable the Surrender key (thanks Jeff) and setup Variety to use my Toughbook wallpapers, but kept the clock and quotes, for now. All the Fn keys seem to work OTB.
I am now going to add gpsd and Foxtrot, although I might try Navit(?) this time, get the gps working proper, do a few more tweaks, then make a copy using Constructor.
Seems better than Makulu 8. Thanks for pointing out the new version.

There is always something waiting at the end of the road, if you are not willing to see what it is, you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place.
