cf-51 no sound at all after Windows7

i recently bought second hand a cf51 tough book that was upgraded to Windows 7 and i have no sound what's so ever I've tried everything I'm a lil tech savy but I'm stuck I've researched the problem and keep hitting dead ends

i bought at a yard sale they said the sound worked with speakers for a movie but i tried it no sound its a common problem when i Google it

What is your full model number of your 51. Have you checked out this thread
http://www.toughbooktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=853 . Sounds like a driver problem to me. What does device Manager show under sound. My CF-51 MK3 under "Sound, Video and game controllers" says "SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC"

where do I get the driver for the sound for this model and windows 7 that was what I was thinking but everyone saying its driver and something about hot keys

ty shawn it helped blair I believe I am missing a few drivers like I said second hand computer I don't have any of the validation codes from previous owners how do I get the full upgrade without costing me because they did not set it up right

ok just looked under system speakers and there is no driver installed where do I get it
