New HP Laptop

My daughter has been using a sweet little CF-T2 for the last year and a half for school and other things (email and web surfing), but finally the very limited 1.1ghz processor and 768mb max memory got to where it couldn't keep up with the software she needs to use.
So off we went on Saturday to BestBuy to see what what was available and new. (flashy)
We looked at the Dells
, the MacBook
$$$$ ,Toshibas
and fnially the HPs.
Being a Toughbook guy, all I can say is I was quite impressed.....
She finally ended up choosing the HP - Pavilion dv3-2155mx.
Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor, 4GB ram, 500GB hard drive, LED back lit screen, Double-layer DVD±RW/CD-RW drive and still weighs less then most of the other full featured laptops (5.5 lbs.)
It seems sturdier then most of the other brands we looked at, and it has some nice features.
The 9 cell battery is a big plus (5-1/2 to 7 hours between charges), Very good sound (for a laptop), a nice almost full sized keyboard, and lastly it has some style that most of the others lacked. (Her being a girl this was close to the top of her want list).
She is still working to learn Vista and to take the bloatware off but she likes it and it should serve her needs very well.
Now it's off to put the little CF-T2 up on ebay and get back some of the $$$ she spent...
