So. on my Mk1, what options am I lacking?

I have a CF-19CHBAXBM
from stock I have upgraded to 3 gigs ram, moved to Windows 7, replaced HD with 120gig SSD and added a Gobi1000 card. that was fun. The Gobi1000 also gives me GPS yet I am still contemplating installing a factory GPS.. At least the Factory antenna onto the datacard.

So i know that knockout for sure is the gps on the side, whats the one on the front right next to the power button. There is nothing there but a black decal so I know theres a option that should be there.

I am trying to get all the bells and whistles that a CF-19 MK1 would or could have had :) But trying to not get nuts on the cost. Like a backlight keyboard. I would love that upgrade but not for the price i see them go for on eBay.

appreciate your help.

Brad.

Fingerprint reader...Tough to find and expensive when you do.

I got really lucky about a month ago and found an Ebayer selling a CF 19 bottom housing with the complete fingerprint reader for $35.00. :pbjt:

Here's a detailed thread.

Here is a cheap upgrade...about $15.00

This handy shoulder strap turns the back handstrap on your Panasonic CF-19 or CF-18 into a comfortable shoulder strap. Simply unsnap your CF-19 handstrap and snap in this extension. Brand new genuine OEM part with Panasonic logo.

One to look at but it would require a new motherboard is the factory camera.

Replaced CCFL tube in screen with LED strip? What part did you change for that? Is something that makes sense to me to replace.

Thanks
