I have a CF-52GGNBX2B with the 1280x800 Anti-Glare screen. I love the notebook except for the screen. I'm having a hard time adjusting. Is it possible to buy a cf-52 1900x1200 lcd and swap it? This one doesn't have a dedicated gpu, does it matter? Thanks, Justin

No you cant swap them. The bios is locked to the original size. I already tried this. It wont even boot with the high res lcd.

The 52A&B model have a 2.0ghz cpu and the high res screen if you can find one,it will be cheaper then the 2.4ghz model.

Awesome, thanks! That was actually the first one I pulled up. How hard was it to install?

Not bad but I have had a bunch of them apart, when you remove the speaker cover take a photo of the antenna wires on the left side so you remember where they go. The screen bezel is very fragile and the peel and stick screw covers are reusable if you are careful.

And you want to be as they cost $1.25 each ! Use a sharp pick to get under the edge and they will peel off. If you break the bezel it is about $14 but $35 shipping from Heartland. Yikes. That's why I buy a bunch at a time. :D

Alright thanks alot. I'm going to order a screen and give it a shot. With the screen i'll only have 375 into it (given I don't break anything) so it seems like a decent deal for everything.
