I was searching, downloading, burning a couple of small Linux distros for Azrial that would burn to a CD, and came across this one:
http://www.swiftlinux.org/
I downloaded and burned two copies to pay it forward so to speak, and am on a live disk right now.
With a little intention, I was able to log onto my wireless internet, and post this. Might be a little easier with an install, however, it's very low impact, seems stable and reliable, and worth a look & burn for a try. Take care and keep touch :pat:
Forgot to mention, those used to using the Windows "super key" between Fn and Alt will be quite pleased, enjoy :salute:
quite brisk and labeled for older computers

I appreciate it and look forward to it, but really, you shouldn't of! I tried PLOP last night but it would not boot my Navigatrix 0.5 Flashdrive for some reason. The pair of Gertacs have GPS... : )

I'm on a CF-28 MK3 and just loaded Swift 0.2.0
I did the un mentionable, I erased a perfectly good (yet outdated) os and am now using Swift.
She is brisk, and seems to be able to surf the internet, and do most of what people want. It was free, just took a little time and effort. If it works on this P3, should work on a Getac whatever that needs new life breathed into her for some more breathing capabilities...
