CF-53 Optional Kit Passwordq

Hi All
My mate has just brought a CF-53 and has broight a PCI-E GPS kit for it but he cannot install this as the Optional Kit password is unknown to him, he has contacted the previous owner who today has rang back and advised that he cannot find the piece of paper he had written it on
Is there anyway my friend can get round this?
