So I have 2 identical T5010's and no sound from one,nothing from speakers or headphones. It doesn't even see the headphones being connected but it will work on a set of USB speakers.

Switched drives and nothing although the no sound drive works fine in the other. So wtf?

headphone jack with built in switch has failed?

If it was shut down with another drive the mute setting may be resident on the mobo..., so power pull re-set including cmos batt is indicated...holding power switch on a few cycles. Then set to defaults and good luck. Sometimes it works.
