First you going to have to use the terminal.
1. In terminal make a directory like this:2. You can use the synaptic package manager but why not just type:Code: Select all
sudo mkdir /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d
3. Leave terminal open and open the menu. Type cali and the calibrator should appear. After it runs you will have two terminals open. Leave em open.Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install xinput-calibrator
4. Now we need a text editor. Might as well use nano. In the first terminal you opened type##the caps and spaces are important.Code: Select all
sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-calibration.conf
5. Cut and paste the info calibrator wrote in the second terminal. From Section to End Section. [CTRL]X to save.
Personally I prefer gedit text editor but just 'cause I'm used to it. From terminalTo use itCode: Select all
sudo get-install gedit
"bout as short as it get with a few extras.Code: Select all
sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-calibration.conf
