This should be in the 'Linux' subforum.
Sadlmkr has info on calibration of the TS and info on WWAN cards.
No one seems to have got the front buttons to work.
CF-29LTQ,CF-31SBM,CF-52youngGUN,

Life's Journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways totally worn-out shouting 'Woo Hoo! What a ride!

Motorsports - the only real sport. If it doesn't have a motor, it is just a game.

There is always something waiting at the end of the road, if you are not willing to see what it is, you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place.

Sorry, my fault, if one of the Admin could move the thread to the relevant sub forum that would be appreciated

What mapping software is there out there for Linux? As long as I can access my OS maps and browse the internet the rest I can work with and tinker on

Here's several links/tips: This nifty free program allows you to make a bootable install disk i.e. Mint/etc..
http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
This is my favorite choice for Mint:
http://www.linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=155
You can download the iso from the mint web site, and burn a disc to install via an external optical drive/or you can make a boot install from the usb thumb drive with Unetbootin.
I've tried most that have been mentioned in articles such as these:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/panason ... ost9366154
However, I always go back to Mint XFCE. The newest version is 16, and the menu is easy to use.
Just plug in your CF-19, have internet access, and install a version. The entire program loads into RAM, and then you can try it out without installing onto your hard drive. If you do decide to install, just click on the icon on your Mint desktop "install", and away it goes. You'll be asked several questions. I recommend NOT doing a dual boot with Windows/Linux. Dedicate a caddy/hard drive for Linux. You'll be a happy camper.
Enjoy

After you install your program of choice be sure to let it install the latest updates. Good post Cleve.
Fair for you/ Fair for me.
I chose to NOT be organized.
